Who We Are

As president of Waugh & Company, Robert Waugh brings more than twenty-five years of business experience, including hotel ownership, manufacturing and international securities brokerage.

Prior to entering the field of business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions in 1994, Mr. Waugh spent fifteen years as a stock broker, portfolio manager and occasional investment banker, beginning with Merrill Lynch Canada and ending with a seven year stint at Burns Fry Ltd (now a subsidiary of The Bank of Montreal).

In addition to his own business, financial and investment skills, he maintains correspondent relationships with a number of professionals in the fields of law, accounting and business finance.

Bob Waugh is a member of Business Brokers of Florida (BBF).

Mr. Waugh is a member of The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), Business Brokers of Florida (BBF) and the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.
